Gina Blakeslee, Ph.D. (ABD), CSW - President RGB Consulting, LLC

Gina is both a powerful front of the room trainer and web-based training facilitator. She is an accomplished professional coach and instructional designer. Gina is knowledgeable in many aspects of both individual and organizational performance improvement. Her abilities include needs assessment, intervention selection and development, implementation and evaluation.

As she was finishing her B.A. in psychology, Gina began her career in helping others improve their personal performance and well-being as a social worker. She began working with adults with serious mental illness. As she moved on to do graduate work in social work, she become a child abuse investigator and then a hospital-based psychiatric screener.

Soon after marrying Ralph and becoming a mother, Gina became a contract instructional designer and front of the room trainer for a parenting program for incarcerated women near her home in New Jersey. This was a turning point in her career. She found that she loved researching and designing training and facilitating it, too! There is no better place to hone your skills as a front of the room trainer than a prison!

With the support of a local community college, Gina went on to develop and implement a coach training certificate program for inmates in the same prison. The program was a phenomenal success and Gina's passion for coaching was ignited.

In 2001, Gina became the president of RGB Consulting, LLC.  The firm was the first approved provider of web-based training for New Jersey's certified municipal officials. The learner's whom have experienced RGB's web-based and in-person programs, have given very high ratings on content and facilitation in both formats.  Gina is very proud and excited by the firm's potential.

As RGB Consulting continued its growth, Gina began graduate work in Adult Education, Training and Performance Improvement.  She was awarded an M.S. in the field in 2007 and is currently finishing her Ph.D. in the same area. Gina's doctoral dissertation is exploring learner's perceived value to learning transfer in a strategy that blends web-based training with synchronous coaching.

Gina has a great passion for coaching and is well-versed in both personal and executive coaching theories and models. She is a skilled coach and has been privileged to be a witness to enormous personal and professional growth in a wide spectrum of adult clients.
